♻️ Biodegradable Scoops

Our scoops are not made from conventional plastic, but from the bio-based plastic PLA. This is derived from renewable resources such as corn or sugarcane. They are fully biodegradable and can simply be disposed of with the residual waste.

🌍 Short Supply Chains & Production in Germany

For us, sustainability doesn't stop at packaging.

  • Production: Happy Sleep is manufactured at a partner facility in Bavaria.
  • Raw materials: Our raw materials come exclusively from selected suppliers in Europe and are regularly analyzed for quality and purity.
  • Packaging: Our stand-up pouches are manufactured in Hamburg.
  • Scoops: Our scoops are manufactured in Switzerland.

Short distances mean: less transport, better control over quality and production, and reliable partnerships. We don't opt for the cheapest solutions, but for high-quality raw materials, fair cooperation, and transparent supply chains.

Fixed bedtimes

Try to go to bed and get up at the same time every day – even on weekends. This will help stabilize your internal rhythm and teach your body to wind down more quickly in the evening.

Cool sleeping environment

A room temperature of around 16–19 °C supports the natural sleep process. In a cooler environment, the body can more easily transition into deep sleep.

Dark bedroom

Darkness promotes the release of melatonin, the body's own sleep hormone. Blackout curtains, blinds, or a sleep mask can help block out external light sources.

Less light in the evening

Bright lights and screens in the evening can make it difficult to fall asleep. Dimmed lights, blue light filters on electronic devices, or blue light filtering glasses (available cheaply online) help the body to wind down.

Evening routines

Recurring evening rituals signal to the body that the day is ending. Calming activities like reading, stretching, or conscious breathing can make it easier to fall asleep. And of course, there's Happy Sleep , which gently supports the body in winding down with natural ingredients.

Don't eat too late

Large or heavy meals shortly before bedtime put a strain on digestion. Ideally, you shouldn't eat anything for 3 to 4 hours before going to bed.

Avoid caffeine in the afternoon

Caffeine can remain in the body for several hours. Those who avoid it from early afternoon onwards often have fewer problems falling asleep in the evening.

Movement at the right time

Regular exercise has a positive effect on sleep. However, intense workouts should be finished at least two to three hours before bedtime.

Use the bedroom as a place to sleep

When the bed is primarily associated with sleep, it's easier to switch off in the evening. Working, watching TV series, or scrolling for extended periods can disrupt this effect.

Letting go of thoughts before going to sleep

Racing thoughts often keep you awake. A quick jot down in the evening can help clear your mind and bring closure. So feel free to keep a notebook or journal by your bed.
